She identified the man who had accosted her the previous day in a public setting. He was taken out by security, and Dubai Police took him into custody.
The man had signed a restraining order forcing him to keep away from her, but Raducanu eventually dropped charges against him. Future WTA tennis competitions will not allow him to participate.

For the WTA 1000 tournament, the world No. 61 traveled with an additional security detail. Her victory was short-lived, though, as Japanese woman Moyuka Uchijima upset her 6-3, 6-2 in the opening round.
Recently, Raducanu has also come under fire for allegedly breaking the Wimbledon dress code. According to a Daily Mail article, she chose to exercise in pink last year rather than following the tournament’s stringent all-white rule. According to the article, the violation irritated an All England Club member who wished to remain nameless.
